8 Beauty Products for Dry Skin in the Winter

8 Products for Your Dry Winter Skin

I would say that I have regular to dry skin. Never oily. Although I think having oily skin can be a blessing — your skin is always moisturized! I feel like that pays off later in life with less wrinkles. I don’t know, I’m not a scientist or doctor, but that just seems like it would be true. Basically I think my skin is aging worse than my oily-skinned friends.

Because my skin is on the dry side, the winter is especially harsh on it and I use a few different products than I do during the other seasons.

These are some of my favorite beauty products for dry skin in the winter months:

1 // Humidifier

My humidifier is literally two feet from my bed so I never wake up with dry skin (or a bloody nose — have you ever had that in the winter due to being dry?). My mom has always used a humidifier in the winter and it’s just something I always had to have, even in college!

It’s also worth having one at your desk if you spend a lot of time there and you feel like you are dry during the day. I have two.

Skincando Miracle Cream

2 // Skincando Miracle Cream

This is literally the best most moisturizing cream I’ve ever used. Ever. Nothing, that I have ever tried has ever beat it. I only use it in the winter. I used to use it every night but after reading this article, which seems like common sense, I’m trying to cut back on my extreme overmoisturizing. But regardless, this is the most moisturizing (not to mention natural) cream ever. It is greasy so I only recommend it as a night cream.

Glossier Balm dotcom

3, 4, and 5 // Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean, Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter, and Glossier Balm dotcom

I cannot handle having dry lips. If I do, it’s all I think about until I fix the situation. So I always have one of my favorite moisturizing lip balms around. Currently those are Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean, Vaseline’s Cocoa Butter or Glossier Balm dotcom. I prefer a lip balm that I don’t have to touch with my finger, basically I prefer a stick application, but if the product is good using my finger doesn’t stop me.

Glossier Moon Mask

6 // Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask

I’m loving this mask if I need a little extra moisture, and I’m always needing extra moisture in the winter. I usually use the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack mask first, then this one.

Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm

7 // Aesop Hand Balm

I have this on my nightstand, and I put it on my feet, legs, and hands right before I go to bed in the winter. A friend of mine recently asked me if I cared getting it all over my sheets but in my mind, life is short. You can’t be too precious about everything!

Caudalie Paris Grape Water

8 // Caudalie Grape Water Spray

This is my favorite face spray that I’ve tried. I love the continuous stream versus a pump. I feel like I can really cover my face. It feels so refreshing, and it’s a great way to give yourself a little wakeup call if you are getting sleepy in the afternoon if you are trying to avoid a second coffee.

I like to spray it on my face right before I go to the gym to get me a little hyped up. But I could see people keeping it on their nightstand and doing a quick spritz first thing in the morning to help you wake up. One tip I learned was to spray it on after you put on your moisturizer to seal in the moisture.

Please tell me your favorite winter beauty products for dry skin so I can try them!
