I’m on a huge reading kick right now. It helps me sleep and I’m doing some research for a huge project that requires lots of reading. Amazon is LOVING me right now. I love having Amazon Prime because my books come sooooo fast. Usually in 2 days, but sometimes in 24 hours. It’s amazing. All of these books are good reads.
Where’d You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple — I recently finished this book. I had to buy the paper version because the cover was just too cute. I’m on a real book kick right now. If the prices of digital and real are similar then I’ll usually get the real book versus the digital one. I really liked this book. It’s interesting and funny. I know it won’t be for a while, but I’m super curious to see who they cast for the movie!
Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight — This book is a page-turner. Another one of those books I couldn’t put down that had the opposite effect of helping me fall asleep but kept me up reading it. Nicole Kidman will be starring in and producing the movie of this book.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green — If you haven’t read this book you absolutely have to. Yes, you will probably cry. I did. But the movie is coming out this summer (I think) and books are usually always better than the movies, or at least I find that reading the book doesn’t make the movie-watching experience any less fun, but seeing the movie before the book makes the book less appealing to me personally. This book is amazing.
Have you read any of these books? Did you like or not like them? What are you reading now?
