I already spoke about Parisianing and what it means to me. But for all of you francophiles you can actually get your French fill right here in Washington DC. I’m going to take you through a day of amazing places where you can go to get all of those French feelings.
For breakfast, you will either want to hit up Boulangerie Christophe or PAUL for your favorite espresso drink and a croissant. Then you’ll want to head over to Longchamp and get yourself a new bag and tie on a scarf while you’re at it. You’re practically French already.
In the afternoon, you’ll want to get some cheese from a special cheese shop and pick up a bottle of wine at Bistrot Lepic. Take those home for later, and then head to dinner at either Le Diplomate or La Piquette.
After a long night of wine and laughing with friends, walk home in the moonlight. And you’ve had a perfectly French day in Washington DC.
Come get your Parisianing on with me and The DC Darlings at Longchamp in CityCenter (990 I Street NW) THIS Wednesday, October 25th, from 6-8 pm! There will be French-inspired hors d’oeuvres and champagne! RSVP to kkommer@ .
