Okay so maybe not all of your problems, but a lot of them!
Is it just me or is anyone else running around like a chicken with their head cut off right now? Curating gift guides, decorating my new home for the holidays, executing brand projects, getting my workout in, attending all the holiday parties and events, shopping for outfits for all of those parties and events, and of course — shopping for everyone on my holiday list!
From mid-November to mid-December is always NUTS. Not to mention the weather changes and my skin becomes so dry. Not just my face by especially my hands because I’m a bit of an obsessive hand washer. I always have to up my beauty and moisturizing game in the winter.
I’m always looking for ways to make certain things easier on myself. Shopping? I do most of it online. Cooking? I’ve been doing meal delivery for almost 2 years. Commuting? I work from home at least 50% of the time so I have literally no commute on those days. I like to be efficient in certain ways and not waste time.
In doing that I also share things here with you to help you be more efficient. I also like to share my tips and tricks and really just about anything I’ve learned over the years, and tell you about my favorite beauty products too. It’s not only part of my job as a website editor, but I was this way even before I did this for a living. If I loved a product or service, I would tell ALL my friends about it.
So today I’m giving you a double tip — a way to be efficient and tell you about some products to solve beauty problems — for under $10. I feel like I need an Emeril “Bam!” after that sentence! It’s pretty hard to find amazing things for under $10 nowadays!
So, if you have one of the following problems, I have your answer:
You need to get a white elephant gift for under $10.
You are shopping for the holidays on a budget.
You want to give thoughtful yet practical gifts this holiday season.
You aren’t happy with your own beauty products and want to test some new ones out.
You have dry hands (like me).
You need a stocking stuffer.
You don’t have time to shop in person.
You need travel-size beauty products.
Your lips are dry.
Solution — the Burt’s Bees Holiday Gift Sets at your local Walmart or on Walmart.com. Perfect for gifting this season, and for your own beauty problems!
I’ve been a long time fan of Burt’s Bees. I’ve even watched the documentary about the company on Netflix (fascinating, you should watch it). I love the iconic branding, it just screams YOU CAN TRUST ME! I’M A GOOD PRODUCT! And it is. It is just one of those brands you know you can count on.
Let me tell you about a few Burt’s Bees items I love. First, the lip balm is great and you will love it. They have it in multiple flavors and I’m obsessed with the Vanilla Bean flavor.
The hand salve and the coconut foot cream are perfect to put on right before you go to bed. I keep mine in a box on my nightstand. With the foot cream I recommend putting on some socks right after you put the cream on and sleeping in them. Let all that coconut oil absorb into your feet!
Similarly, the hand slave is perfect to put on and leave on overnight for those dry winter hands. My hands will bleed in the winter if I don’t use this stuff!
The body lotion I like to keep in my purse because dry skin means static and clingy clothes, so I like to keep it with me to apply to my dry skin on the go.
The efficient part? Click here and find all of the Burt’s Bees Gift Sets at Walmart.com. Or if you’re already going to be at Walmart, swing by the beauty department and grab one of the gift sets (or two). Get one for yourself and one as a gift!
