San Francisco // Good Times and GSD

Whoa. What a wonderful whirlwind of a weekend I had. I’m currently on the flight home (yay wifi!) and am wiped out. I was only in San Francisco for two glorious days (it was 80 degrees yesterday!) and they were packed full of fun. Lots of work, but work is fun. So really just fun. But I did something I haven’t done in years, nor can I even remember the last time I’ve done this… I was asleep by somewhere around 7:30 p.m. last night. Utterly exhausted with a pounding headache, I couldn’t even watch a show on hulu, but I couldn’t have had a better time.

Thanks to my girl Rena — the genius behind Makeshift Society — I had my first #GSD (get shit done) workshop. If you live in San Francisco, work from home, and haven’t checked out Makeshift Society… you really must go check out Makeshift. Such an inspiring environment, then you fill it with a bunch of amazing people and well, magic things happen. On Sunday, I had a great group of ladies who wanted to learn more about getting some shit done. It was a blast, and definitely made me want to expand the workshop into different cities. Who wants to #GSD?

Not only was I in town to give a #GSD Workshop, but I also attended the reception of my dear friend Victoria. The girl. Was. Stunning. We all danced the night away to the view of the city. I know, sick view.

I also had the chance to hang with lots of my SF friends (Maggie, Catie, Rena, Fiona, Caitlin, Erin), see KC friends also in town for the wedding, reconnect with an old friend from high school, and meet a few new friends. SF Trip = Success. I always wish there was more time because there’s oodles of other awesome SFers I want to spend time with — I guess that just means I have to head back out there sometime soon.
