It’s time for my second installment of Beauty Dossier where I talk about some of the beauty products I’ve been testing out!
Currently I have a backlog of products I’m testing which is causing quite a mess in my home office/closet so I’m really trying get through them and give them all a fair go before telling you about them. I have a lot coming up, so I’m excited to talk about them all!
You can always catch me talking about products a little as I’m using them on my Instagram Stories (and I also do random giveaways on my Stories as well, so you’ll have to watch to know how to enter when I’m doing a giveaway!).
Let’s get into the beauty products, shall we!?
Several things to talk about here. First of all, this specific jar is a collaboration with Rometti ceramics workshop. Based in Umbria, Italy since 1927, Rometti works with the same natural clay that Fresh sources. Obviously I love art collaborations.
Secondly, mine came with a brush (I don’t know if they do when you order them, but Fresh sent this to me). There is just something about using a brush to apply a mask that I love. It feels so good on my face, I can spread the product better, I love painting obviously, and it feels more like a spa experience to apply it with a brush.
Lastly, this product is amazing. I’m in a bit of need to get a facial (haven’t had one in years) and sometimes I’ll get a buildup around my lips. Maybe they are blackheads? I’m not really sure. They aren’t obvious, but more like I can just feel hard bumps and see them when I look really close in the mirror. So the other night I felt like, eek there are so many (even though you really can’t see them)! I felt like there was nothing I could do on my own at home, but wanted to try anyway. I looked at my collection of masks (I have a lot of mask options) and pulled out this one because it said instant purifying mask, daily deep cleanser, or to minimize small imperfections. Honestly I didn’t expect it to solve my very specific problem. Shockingly, in only 5 minutes (it’s a quick mask), I’d say my problem area was 80% better. I was impressed for sure. My entire face felt like it got a deep clean. Adding this mask to my rotating masks for sure!
They also have a non-artist jar as this one is limited addition so it will sell out at some point.
You guys. These candles. This is the set of the 3.5 ounce candles but I’m definitely going to need to get the full sizes of my favorites as well.
First of all I love the concept. The names Wake, Afternoon Delight, Magic Hour, and Nightcap. Are you kidding me!?! Genius concept!
Also I love the product design and packaging. Give me a black and white candle and I’m a happy gal.
I genuinely like all of the scents, but I have two clear favorites — Wake and Nightcap. The small votive sizes are perfect for when you only have a few hours of work to do so you don’t want to start burning a larger candle.
Candle Tip — You should always burn the candle to the edges of the jar each time you light it so it burns evenly to the bottom. That’s how you get the most of your candles. Especially the very first time you burn your candle, make sure you have plenty of time to let it burn all the way to the edges.

I’m always nervous to try new skincare because I have sensitive skin. Working out and the summer sun also can make me extra sensitive to new products. However, I was really impressed with this line.
I remember waking up the morning after the first time I used the entire line and I was like wow! My skin just looked better than it usually does. The Hydrating Cloud Cream tingles sometimes, I think if my skin is really warm from a hot shower, but it doesn’t irritate it. It’s really easy to apply, it feels light and airy, and moisturizes without being greasy.
The Hydrating Booster Serum is just that. I definitely felt like it made my skin more plump and smooth. This and the cloud cream are my favorite from the line, but if you have puffy eyes, give the eye gel a try.
The Firming Foam Mask is really fun. I definitely felt like it made my skin look and feel more hydrated, and just plain better.
I don’t have super puffy eyes so I don’t think I’m the best person to give opinions about the eye gel, but I loved the line as a whole and will use it all until it’s gone over the next few months.
My only feedback about this product is that the pump on the serum and the mask doesn’t work seamlessly, sometimes it takes a while to get the product out, but otherwise I love the sleek look and feel of the packaging.
If you like pigmented eyeliner, these gel eye crayons are for you. Admittedly I don’t wear a ton of colors when it comes to eyeliner. Usually just blacks and browns and the occasional gray, dark green, or dark purple. But lately I’m getting more daring. No, I won’t be wearing bright yellows, reds, and pinks but I do have a fun idea planned for these eyeliners, so don’t worry, they won’t be going to waste!
The two colors I do wear constantly are the black or Blacquer 42 and the shimmery golden brown called Ro(Cocoa) 48. I wear Ro(Cocoa) almost every day that I wear my “normal” makeup.
I would definitely say that the colors are intense and pigmented. They go on really easily and stay on above or below the lashes, but not on the water line, or not on mine at least, but there’s a good possibility I don’t put enough on to make it last. I still put it on my lower waterline because I like that it will smudge into the base of my lashes and look worn in and not so “done” if that makes sense.
Two very cool things about them is that you can use them AS eye shadow. Just color in your lid, layer several colors, and smudge with your finger or a brush (click here, then look below the product image for a how-to video). Also, the bottom of each eye liner is A SHARPENER. Isn’t that GENIUS!?!
You might recognize this product from my gym bag post, but I am really loving them. Both products are so easy to just leave in my gym bag and use in the locker room right after I workout and spend 20 minutes in the sauna.
I personally like the Shower Sheets a little better. The formula doesn’t leave your skin sticky or tacky, and I can actually get my entire back with the wipe. It’s a little too hard to reach my entire back and rub the foam in back there, however I do think the foam gives a deeper clean.
Also I just love what Yuni is about — Mindful Beauty for an Active Life.
If you enjoyed this Beauty Dossier post, please tell me in the comments about a recent beauty product you tried and either liked or didn’t like!
An * after the product denotes that it was sent/given to me. All opinions are honest and are my own. I was not paid to talk about any of these products.
