BEAUTY // My #lipbomb

Lara started this awesome column called Show Me Your #lipbomb, and well it’s genius. So I thought I’d break the mold and show her my #lipbomb on the new video social media platform Vine (you can find me at MegBiram) — click here to watch my Vine #lipbomb on the glossarie. These are just a few of my favorite lip products — because there are a few new ones in the works I just discovered…

The black case is actually a local (Arlington, VA) designer Blair Ritchey, that I am obsessed with. She is just the sweetest cutest thing, and all of her bags are killer. I carry at least one Blair Ritchey item around with me every day (full feature on her coming in the near future).

The Radiant Cosmetics lipstick is new to me, and I’m totally in love. The color (Charlotte) is the perfect nude for me, and the moisturizing lipstick is so smooth. I use the Smashbox nude lip liner first, then the Charlotte lipstick and it’s my go-to nude lip. I also have the a matte red lipstick in Moscow (wore it to the kate spade event last week).

The Clinique Almost Blush lipstick is o-l-d. Like I don’t even know how long I’ve had it old. Like possibly high school which is 12 years ago if you count from graduation old. Like they don’t even make this color anymore old. That my friends, is old in lipstick years. Do you have any lip products that old? It’s a little darker than the Charlotte from Radiant Cosmetics, so if I’m wanting a little more color but still a nude shade, this is my girl. Here are the current Clinique Almost Lipstick colors. To be honest, I’m still in love with the simplistic silver tube. So chic and understated. And with all the rage about chubby sticks, I might just have to visit the Clinique counter again. C’mon you know you waited in line to buy two Clinique items in high school just so you could hit the amount to get the free gift every few months. Remember the ladybug case? I know I do.

I found this KORRES Cherry Full Gloss while looking for more natural beauty lines — which I’m totally into. I have a few products from KORRES, all which I’m liking.

I think the last two are obvious — everyone loves fresh Sugar lip treatment so I just had to try it and I totally get it now. It really is just way better than so many other lip treatments. And it has SPF 15, bonus! You can wear it on the beach, at the pool, or if you go tanning in the winter just a few times because you feel super pale not that I’m talking from experience or anything okay I am, then perfect! And who doesn’t love a little Smith’s Rosebud Salve?

What lip items do you carry around each day?

See what others do in Lara’s #lipbomb column. So interesting to see what we all have in common and find new products!
