Some of you might have gathered that I style photo shoots as one of the many things I do for a living. I directed photo shoots at Hallmark Cards for five years (and got to learn from the most amazing stylists and photographers!). From the get-go I learned a level of quality that can be hard to obtain without their endless prop closets and thousands and thousands of dollars worth of the best lighting equipment and cameras. So basically my expectations are always really high for any photo shoot I’m a part of — Hallmark cameras or not!
When the DC-based cold-pressed juice company JRINK wanted to chat about doing a photo shoot for them, my mind was already racing with the possibilities. They are also a female-based company and you know me and female entrepreneurs — can’t get enough of ’em!
We shot in multiple locations around Georgetown and Dupont Circle with a few models (Carl, Claire, and me!). JRINK was looking for a mixture of photos — in the office, on-the-go, guys and gals, healthy lifestyle — all the things that the JRINK lifestyle is. I wanted to tell you about them because I love their juice and I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from the shoot with you.
If you want to try their juices, you can check out their location in Dupont Circle, and soon they are opening on 14th street (trying to get them to come to Georgetown…). They also deliver. I’ve tried almost all of the juices and my favorites are all of the Fuel Me Up juices, The Hulk, Wake Me Up, Sweeten Me Up and my absolute favorite is the Cheer Me Up. At their Dupont location they will also add some concentrated coffee to the nut juices — so delicious.
