February 2019 Book Review

I feel like I read more books in February, but clearly I didn’t. The month was a little crazy with work and a total blur. I usually listen to books while I paint murals, and I had two murals in February, but they were both very technical and I didn’t want to mess them up, so I just painted mostly in silence or while talking to the person that was helping me with them.

As always I’m reading several books at a time right now, but lately I’ve been crashing so hard at night I can’t even read!

I did read two great books in February:

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens

For whatever reason I was resisting reading this book, but I finally did and WOW was it good. I really enjoyed the story. Do not resist it, it’s a great book!

Never Broken: Songs Are Only Half the Story, by Jewel

Someone told me about this book a long time ago and how great it was. I concur. I was SO SURPRISED at how I really knew NOTHING about Jewel and how fascinating her story is. You will have so much more respect for her as an artist and a person when you read this.

Have you read any of these books? What have you read recently? Please tell me in the comments below!
