Leaping Into Fall

OLIVE SKIRT

skirt / tank / sandals / clutch

Where did the summer go!? I feel like the older you get the more you stay that. Time goes by so fast. The only time it feels slow is the week before you leave on vacation!

August can sometimes be a lull point in many industries. Everyone goes on vacation. I’ve wrapped up summer projects and am planning out the fall ones. It’s a great time to catch up on things and clean things out to prepare for the crazy that is fall & holiday season.

OLIVE SKIRT

I say tank & maxi girl in the title of this post because I am partial to tanks and maxis. I’d rather have no sleeves or long sleeves. In the past few years I’ve worn more short sleeves than I ever used to, but for me it’s either hot enough for no sleeves, or cool enough for long ones.

I actually got this cheetahs tank at the beginning of the summer and have been wearing it constantly (now it also comes in black, which I love). Each season I buy a few pieces that I know I’ll wear all season. I’m not even kidding you, I’m wearing this tank it as I type this. I’ll snap today so you can see (megbiram on snapchat).

This olive maxi skirt is so flowy. It’s one of those maxis you can actually walk in. Heck I could even jump in it! If you watch Project Runway (one of the only shows I’ve actually watched religiously throughout the years) they would say it moves on the runway.

The black slides are the ones you’ve seen me wear all summer. They are SO COMFORTABLE. I’ve literally worn them like 90% of the time (also, literally wearing them right now). I’m considering buying another pair for next year, or even in tan.

My clutch is actually a makeup/travel pouch that can double as a clutch.

Do you have a sleeve preference? Or skirt length preference?

Did summer go by fast for you as well?
