When I think of leopard print, it takes me back to high school. That’s when I remember my first leopard fashion experience. The shopping pages of Seventeen magazine with roundups of leopard products. Leopard is one of those classic prints that is always in style in some ways, but then has times when it’s more popular. Right now is one of those times.
Next Tuesday, October 3rd, I’ll be at the kate spade new york in City Center in Washington, D.C. from 6-8 pm helping them celebrate their fall #LeopardLeopardLeopard event. kate spade new york stores all across the US will be having these events. See the event details here to see if one is coming to your city! Let us know you are coming on Facebook!
If you’ve been a reader for a while now, you might know I have had a long relationship with kate spade new york. I hosted their first store opening in Kansas City, then another one in Arlington, Virginia, a few years later. I also went with them to Rwanda to see the facility where their On Purpose line is made.
The leopard print dress I’m wearing in these photos is, of course, from their leopard collection, and sizes are already selling out! It’s super comfortable, and I always love a dress with sleeves. But my very favorite thing about this dress is the gold clipped dot print on top of the leopard. It makes the dress shiny and unique. I’m wearing it with the make it mine byrdie bag and the milan too heels. The black ring I actually bought while I was in Rwanda with kate spade so obviously, I wore it for this shoot on purpose.
I hope you’ll stop by next Tuesday and say hi!
