I feel like I’m just now catching up from being in Hong Kong for a week, then having massive jet lag for a week, then having my mom in town for four days. Now I’m in full-on get shit done mode because we leave for Spain in 3 weeks and I’ve planned exactly nothing besides getting our flights, our potential route, and where we are staying week we will be with my brother and his wife in Malaga (they planned that part). So ya, I need to figure out the train situation, hotels, and get a list together of what I want to do and where to eat in each city. Also I need to get five weeks of work done in three weeks. Oh the joys of entrepreneurism!

EATING — You had me at chocolate protein donuts.

BIKING — Due to moving to a new apartment in DC, my best option for getting to my studio in Georgetown during the week is biking (we don’t have a car right now, but we are looking for one!). If I take the bus/metro then I have to change lines on both, which can end up taking about 45 minutes to an hour just to go like 3-4 miles. So biking is really just the easiest option, however, I have a puny bike. I mean it’s fine, it does the trick, but it’s not cute or cool or anything. Just something I bought of Craigslist five years ago, so while I don’t need to buy a new bike, I wouldn’t mind something lighter if you have any suggestions. Feel free to leave me any biking tips too!

READING — I just finished The Lake House, have you read it?

TRAVELING — “I don’t want the calendar to be my boss.” This guy biked from Oregon to the southern tip of South America. Love his outlook on life and doing something crazy and challenging. I have the urge to do something crazy like that too…

LEARNING — I’m using Duolingo to brush up on my Spanish before we go to Spain. Do you have any travel app recommendations?

WATCHING — Can’t WAIT for The Girl on the Train to come out. Did you read the book? I did. I always prefer to read the book before seeing the movie.

RUNNING — I’ve had that running nirvana feeling only two times while running. Every other time I just hate running.
