Some office spaces just stop you in your tracks. Rebecca Taylor’s modern feminine office had me at first glance. Clearly I loved the blush, white, and black color scheme, and the furniture, but what really grabbed me was the artwork.
I noticed she had several pieces by Wayne Pate on her inspiration board and I thought, wow she must love his work. I also thought, his work is the type of work you frame, not just pin up on a pin board. Then I figure out — they are married! Which is crazy to me because I’ve been following him on Instagram for so long because I love his artwork and have featured his work here multiple times dating back to 2013. So I loved making this connection because not only do I love his work and her office, but I also love her clothing, plus what a creative power couple!
If you’ve never tried Rebecca Taylor’s clothing on, you must. She knows how to fit a woman’s body. And there are little details that are so thoughtful — you can tell a woman designed it — pockets, long ribbons on zippers so you can zip yourself up, all sorts of thoughtful details.
