Shift in Focus: Art

Meg Biram in her Art Studio

You might have noticed I haven’t been posting on my site in a few months. I have good reasons. If you follow me on Instagram @megbiram you’ve probably seen what I’ve been up to. A lot has changed over there as well — less content content, more IRL posts and art content.

Some of my reasons for not posting here are that I’ve been on vacation (Colorado and Los Angeles) and had unexpected family things going on (Kansas City), but the main reason is that I’ve been so busy with murals and art work, and I just haven’t had time.

When I decided to take a fairly dramatic turn in my career about 1-2 years ago and hyper focus on art instead of blogging, I thought I’d still blog a few times a week, then it went to once a week or so, then I just realized I needed to think about how I want to do it from now on.

I’m in the process of figuring out how to structure my new site — yes I’m doing a redesign with my bae Victoria again. The best content from the blog will still be available, but a lot of my old content will go away.

It’s hard to figure out what I should keep sharing here or if I should just stop all together. I’ve thought about only posting art-related things and posts that I know you guys like to reference from time to time — book recommendations, beauty and wellness info, travel guides, home renovations. We’ll see.

I just wanted to let you know, I’m still around, I haven’t forgotten about my site, I’m just shifting my career into mostly full-time art. I will still collaborate with brands in an authentic way, but my main focus is my own artwork and products (to come!).

To stay up to date, follow me on Instagram @megbiram. If there’s certain content you love here and don’t want to see it go, let me know!
