creative collective - meg biram - west elm - bathroom

I’ve been busy transforming the new Creative Collective studio from an all-white box to a fully-furnished and decorated space. I wanted to keep the two main rooms white for photo shoot purposes — but the kitchen, bathroom and hallway were screaming PAINT ME!

I’m not an uber feminine gal but I do like a good shade of pink, and with a gray tile floor that I couldn’t change — I thought an “adult blushy pink” would be a nice dose of lady to the space. Not to mention a fun little surprise when you open the door from the mostly white studio. The shade of pink isn’t baby or girlie, I think of it as an adult pink. It’s called “blushing” from Sherwin Williams. The bathroom is pretty tiny so it can actually handle color. Plus we partnered up with west elm to outfit the bathroom with some neutral items — the basket, shower curtain, rug & towels are all available at west elm.

See the before & after of the studio bathroom over on west elm’s blog Front + Main today!

I think my next painting project will be to white wash that basket!
