beau bag - kate spade - meg biram

Recently I flew to St. Louis to be with my family for a few days. Over the years I’ve gotten really good at paring down what to take with me on short trips — especially if I’m carrying my suitcase onto the plane. My goal is usually to make my purse as light as possible. It’s much easier to roll a heavy carry on bag, than to carry a heavy purse. I also try to preserve my bags and not put too much unnecessary stress on them. This trip I was able to pack really light and put my laptop and the book I’m reading (Gone Girl) in my suitcase, so my purse was rather light. Typically I only travel with a bag that has a long strap just for the ease, but this lovely kate spade new york beau bag recently came into my life (thank you kate spade) and I just want to carry it all the time.

I cannot even tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten on my beau bag. People stop me every time I carry it and ask about it (P.S. It comes in a slew of different colors).
