Last summer I spent some time in the Phoenix area (when it was 120 degrees!). Not only did I have a great time — I went on a hot air balloon ride and did goat yoga to name a few things — I also ate some insanely delicious food.
If you want to eat super healthy, don’t become a travel blogger. Half of the experience is the food! Which I personally love because I’m so picky it gives me the opportunity to try new things I wouldn’t otherwise, but not so great if you’re trying to watch what you eat.
We ate at some delicious places in the Phoenix area, but I’m sure there are tons more, so I want you to leave your favorite Phoenix-area food spots in the comments!
The homey collected atmosphere makes you feel right at home when you walk into Pizzeria Bianco. The pizza was AMAZING. Will definitely be going back next time I’m in Phoenix.
Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this a great spot to get together with friends. Next time I visit I definitely want to sit on the patio!
The vibe in the Kierland location of The Mission immediately sets you up for their modern Latin cuisine. I could not stop eating the tostadas (see top pic). And the margaritas…to die. My mouth is literally watering as I write this.
If I lived in the Phoenix area, I’d be at the Postino ALL THE TIME. We visited the East location in Gilbert. This place was packed for a good reason — it’s delicious! The wine of course, but THE BRUSCHETTA. I mean, can I just eat this photo!? Not only was it so so good, but it was perfect for sharing, conveniently cut into 4 easy-to-grab pieces.
Bring your dog and sit on the patio at O.H.S.O. Brewery. Hot? No worries, they’ve got lots of misters and beer to keep you cool.
An iconic spot for fine dining. Dark moody lighting, tufted leather booths, and impeccable service. Make sure you get the Strawberry Shortcake. You will NOT regret it. It was the best I’ve ever had.
In the newly redesigned hotel The Camby you can find Artizen — a Crafted American Kitchen & Bar. So many cool design features in this hotel and restaurant! Great place to go for a meal or a drink with a group!
Even if you don’t stay at The Westin Kierland, the contemporary Latin restaurant Deseo there is worth the trip. The South American cuisine and wine list won me over.
I know there are a lot more amazing restaurants and food spots in the Phoenix area — please leave your favorites in the comments below!
