It’s always an honor to be invited to the White House. One of the perks of living here is that I do get to go for fun occasions sometimes! Yesterday I got to do a small media preview of the White House holiday decorations. All of the other times I’ve been in the White House, there are usually other tourists or it’s a large group of people. This time there were only about 20 of us (not including the secret service and staff). So we could actually get some amazing shots of the decor without people in them.
While I don’t cover a lot of DC-specific things, I thought this was a special opportunity and I wanted to share the photos with you! If you are coming to DC this month, you should try to take a tour so you can see the decorations yourself! We even got to see Sunny and Bo, they Obama’s dogs! They are so cute.
